PRCH Retail Awards is a specialized independent competition program organized yearly by the Polish Council of Shopping Centres for the retail sector: retail chains, as well as developers, investors, and shopping centres’ managers. The goal of the competition is to award prizes for - and promote - achievements, best practices, and innovative actions, while recognizing the teams which conduct them. The culmination of the competition is the PRCH Retail Awards Gala, a most spectacular sector event, during which the winners and their achievements are presented.
As the assessment is comprehensive, focusses on the content, and is conducted by leading experts from the sector, scientific circles, marketing, and the media, the prizes granted in the PRCH Retail Awards competition are considered as most prestigious and most credible on the market. A valuable feature of the programme is its multi-stage transparent assessment process, and transparent rules: for instance, members of the Jury do not assess the projects in which they were involved. Considering the unique environment and specific character of the projects, each of them is analysed individually, thanks to which both large and a small retail chains, big and small shopping centres have equal chances to win a prize.
